Best ever holiday in Iceland! Last spring we visited Iceland for the 6 days tour. It was simply the best experience we have ever had. We were lucky to be in a small group of travelers on this tour with a wonderful guide Skúli. We definitely had the best possible experience. Hotels were very comfortable, the food was great, and the scenery we were treated to was unbelievable. Magic! This holiday was wonderful from beginning to end and we would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the 'real' Iceland, guided by those who know and care about this amazing country. The beauty of this country is stunning! The hotels we stayed at were well chosen, very comfortable and well located. Food and drinks in Iceland are very expensive but affordable. The guides were very knowledgable in the history as well as about glaciers and geology in general. This trip was very special experience in my life and I would definitely do it again. What a wonderful experience we had visiting Iceland this summer! The whole tour was well and efficiently planned by Nordic Saga Tours. My special thanks to Dora, who was so patient and knowledgeable in what she is doing. Iceland was so beautiful and so different! We were amazed by different landscapes – volcanic countryside, and the green vegetation, cultivated farm lands, rivers and raging waterfalls. The tours were superbly organised and run. The accommodation was comfortable and ideally situated to explore Reykjavik in all its splendor. The itinerary was really interesting covering the major highlights of the country. We booked the double trip of whale watching and northern lights. Every minute of the trip was a brilliant experience. Unfortunately, no whales showed up but the many dolphins greeted us and it was amazing. Overall the sea trip was a very good experience and would love to do again. The northern lights trip with guide Maria was absolutely amazing! She made all the experience so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this trip. Don't forget warm clothes! This tour was recommended to me by a friend who booked this tour via Nordic Saga Tours last year and I was very happy with all he got. The highlight of the trip was the whale watching. The guide and the boat captain were so knowledgeable and eager to show us the whales . We had brought lots of warm clothes, but they also provided special "boiler suits" which were fantastically warm and really make a difference. The boat trip was unforgettable.
